Let’s Talk About Health

Recently, I went through a few days of pain in my body. I am not accustomed to pain in my body, having enjoyed the wonders of a very healthy and pain free life. Let me state unequivocally, and I’m sure all will agree: Good health is a BLESSING!

The Second Adam…Our Example

It was recently brought to my attention that the second Adam (Jesus) did what the first Adam was supposed to do in the beginning after his creation. It was proposed by this teacher that the first Adam was supposed to rule the world with his words. I had never made that connection until I heard the statement.

I’m an Idiot Without You

Weird title for a post, right? Well, not if you have been steeped in deep dark sin, and then find yourself delivered and brought into the light of God’s truth. It is the truth…I am an idiot without God. My life before Christ is proof.

To The Fatherless Generations: Receive God’s Love

I was given inspiration for this post when I heard a comment that went something like this: “There is too much teaching (in the church) about receiving and not enough about holy living.” I remember thinking, “I learned about holy living from the Holy Spirit and not from a man.” Continue reading

Lies the Devil Told Us

Have you ever heard this statement….“Stay out of politics. It’s too dirty.”? How did politics get that way?

How about the people, even religious people who criticize the “prosperity gospel”? Do they have a point?

God, What Happened to My Dream?

In the book of Genesis, Joseph was a teenager when he had a couple of dreams…dreams which gave him some clues about his future, the thing he would be eventually put in a position to do. His family didn’t get very excited about it when he told them, but nonetheless, the dreams were from God. Continue reading

Dogtags and Pearls 3 Is In the Works

I am working on a new book, Dogtags and Pearls 3. We are about 2/3 of the way through writing it, but I thought I might give a preview of the cover. My aim is to have it finished and ready for printing by the end of this year, if everything goes well. Again, it will be a compilation of blog posts from this blog.

Intercession….Not Everyone Flies a Plane

In wartime, there are divisions of soldiers. Not everyone flies a plane and clears the skies…there are ground soldiers who go in and finish battles where the planes are unable to, but the air war  is meant to destroy a majority of the enemy’s weapons, and weaken and demoralize the ground forces. So with that said…who is the “air force,” who clears the skies in a spiritual battle in the heavenlies? The intercessors, those who know how to war in the heavenlies. Continue reading

Believe it or Not, God is “Diverse”

Diversity….a term we have heard much about lately, although other words have superseded it now, such as identity (politics), intersectionality (whatever that is) and the like.

I’m going to make the easily provable case that God, even though He stays the same (as the scripture says) is actually diverse…and He enjoys our differences…because He made us this way! Continue reading

Thankfulness…The Language of the Kingdom

Thankfulness is the language of the Kingdom of God.

Praise and thankfulness for God’s love, grace, and His many blessings in our lives impresses Him. Without an attitude of gratitude, one cannot go far with God. If you have children, are you not supremely happy when they are grateful for the things you do for them? Do you not rejoice when they grow and mature and are happy adults who can make good decisions for themselves? Well, God is a Father…our original Father. Continue reading
