You Can Take This to the Bank

“Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.”–Ecclesiastes 8:11

Do you think this is what we see in our society today? The Bible is never wrong in describing the human condition. Because it was written by the inspiration of God, it contains the mind of the God who created all men and who knows their frame and everything else about them.

Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, test the mind, even to give every man according to his way, according to the fruit of his doings.

Psalm 139:13-16 “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.”

Because evil works are multiplying at such a rate the police and the courts cannot keep up, I think the only recourse for the saving of our country is a supernatural rescue in the form of a national revival and a return to the principles that made our country great which are based on the bible. That should be our prayer. Not everyone will participate, and there will still be evil, but I believe the “land of the free and the brave” can and will live up to its name.

God Bless America.
