Bringing All Things Into Order

Creator of the Universe and creator of my life and my purpose,…You are God.

Look up and ponder…can the One who put the stars in place, the One Who called for unchangeable, dependable seasons, days and nights, not put your life in order? Can not the One who created your body to heal itself and to function in the many myriad of processes that make the human body do what it does, give you understanding for what you need to know? See how orderly the universe is. He has placed you here in this orderly cosmos for a purpose. You are not a random thing. Your life is not unplanned or casual to our Creator God.

His word declares that His plan is to “sum up all things in Christ.” Ephesians 1:10 ”…that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He (God) might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. (NKJV)

But what does that mean? That means it is His plan to bring all things into order, and He will do it. All things will eventually be brought to a place of peace.

Isaiah 11:6-9 declares, “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.

You can have order and peace, but only in submission to His kingdom, His rule. In the world, there is turmoil and chaos, as you can easily see. The sins of mankind cause things to be out of order and chaotic. You can get in on peace and order right now. In fact, I suggest that you do. The Book of Revelations reveals what happens to those who do not submit to His plan. You can experience a remarkably different life when you know Jesus.

The Passion Translation bible speaks of the plan this way, starting in Ephesians 1:7, “Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding. And through the revelation of the Anointed One, he unveiled his secret desires to us—the hidden mystery of his long-range plan, which he was delighted to implement from the very beginning of time. And because of God’s unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax—when God makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ.” (emphasis mine)

And you can be made new NOW.  You can have order in your life NOW. You can have peace with God NOW. You don’t have to wait. In the gospels, we see Jesus setting things in order, healing the sick, casting out devils, calming a storm. His desire is for it to happen NOW for you. Call upon His name; He is waiting for you.

In Psalm 18:16, the writer says, “He then reached down from heaven, all the way from the sky to the sea. He reached down into my darkness to rescue me! He took me out of my calamity and chaos and drew me to himself, taking me from the depths of my despair!

Psalm 93:3-4 says, “Chaos once challenged you. The raging waves lifted themselves over and over, high above the ocean’s depths, letting out their mighty roar! Yet at the sound of Your voice they were all stilled by Your might. What a majestic King, filled with power!

Proverbs 28:2 “A rebellious nation is thrown into chaos, but leaders anointed with wisdom will restore law and order.” Yes we have been rebellious, but there is yet hope.
